There’s a special treat for Spider-Man fans on 24 and 25 July. One weekend before the Spider-Man: Brand New Day movie hits cinemas, The Exchange TRX is turning its skyline into a full-blown tribute to the wall-crawler with a “Spider-Man: Brand New Day Light Show.” The light show will take place at Raintree Plaza from 8.30pm onwards on both nights.

Planning your visit

Some practical tips if you’re heading down:

  • Arrive early. Since the show starts at 8.30pm, it’s best to head there early, or at least be near the mall beforehand, so you won’t have to rush when it’s almost time.
  • Make a night of it. Grab a dinner or dessert with the gang at the mall’s various dining options before the show.
  • Make sure your phone is charged. If you’re planning to document the rare event, you’ll want to make sure your phone or your camera has enough battery charge to last the night.
The Spider-Man: Brand New Day light show takes place on 24 and 25 July at The Exchange TRX.

Keep an eye out for fan screenings

The light show is part of a much larger Spider-Man: Brand New Day rollout that’s turned Kuala Lumpur, along with cities worldwide, into one giant fan activation.

Locally, Golden Screen Cinemas is following up with its own Ultimate Fan Screening event on 1 and 2 August at selected GSC locations, including Aurum Theatre in The Exchange TRX. These special fan screening events include perks like premium seats, exclusive collectibles, and themed experiences, especially for Spider-Man fans.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be showing in cinemas nationwide on 30 July.
