Subang Jaya-based street clothing brand Stoned & Co. is offering freebies to anyone who drives by their outlet in SS15 and honks their car horn twice.
According to a Facebook post, the brand promises food, drinks, and accessories from other retail outlets in the area.
The participating freebies include sunglasses from Lohas Eyewear, coffee from Baristar Roastery, buttermilk chicken from Gold Chilli, nasi lemak from one of the brand’s go-to lunch spots, roti canai from another undisclosed location, and dessert from a shop next to theirs.
“What happens in SS15, stays in SS15. We would like to express our gratitude to the community so we are back here where everything started,” said the brand in its Facebook post.
In the comments section, Malaysians were having none of it. Many have lost trust in the brand and continued bringing up a representative of the brand’s behaviour in a recent road rage incident.

Angry Ferrari: A Lapse in Judgement That Landed The Company In Hot Water
Last Sunday night (11 January), an incident involving a co-founder of Stoned & Co. and a driver who was passing by the SS15 outlet went viral on social media.
Footage from a car’s dashcam showed that the brand’s co-founder was standing in the middle of the road right outside the streetwear shop, next to a Ferrari. The driver of the car with the dashcam honked at the businessman to get him to move out of the way.
The business owner then became angry from being honked at, jumped in the Ferrari, and gave chase to the other driver. At some point, he caught up to the driver and stopped the Ferrari he was driving right in front of the car that honked at him.
He stepped out of the Ferrari and approached the car, but the other driver simply drove away from the tense situation.
Stoned & Co.’s co-founder was later suspended from the business and issued a public apology on social media. The brand’s founder, Andrew Ngo, also posted a video to address the incident and confirm that his business partner will have nothing to do with the brand moving forward.
